September 11

Fixed Firestarter class balance and issues. Eliminated all kinds of game problems.

Firestarter

  • Added the information on how to get charges for the Flaming Sphere ability to the ability description.
  • Fixed the issue where the Path of Flame ability failed to deal damage correctly. The description now contains correct damage information.
  • Fixed the issue where the Burning ability dealt miscalculated damage.
  • Increased the Incinerating Rain ability's area of effect when it is used in divine form.
  • The Fire Dance and Shape of Fire abilities no longer switch the character to combat mode. Now you can mount a vehicle or change class while using them.
  • Cooldown time of Eruption and Shape of Fire is now displayed correctly.
  • Fixed the descriptions of Fire Breath and Fire Dance.
  • The Fire Dance effect is now interrupted by a control effect.
  • Now the Firestarter can use the Path of Flame portals only twice while casting this ability.
  • Fixed the issue where the visual effect of Firestarter's exit from the Fire portal was misdirected to the selected target.
  • Fixed animations for the Firestarter's divine form in the Style Room.
  • Fixed the issue where the Firestarter's torches were colored white after battle.
  • Fixed the issue where the Firestarter's weapon lost during attack looked like Soundweaver's guitar.
  • Animations of Eruption, Incinerating Rain, and Cyrus’s Wrath will no longer interrupt if the abilities are used in quick succession.
  • Fixed the visual glitch where the Halo overlapped the Firestarter's headwear.
  • Changed Firestarter weapon appearance while switching to another class in divine form.
  • Fixed the issue where the fire visual disappeared from Firestarter's weapon after switching to a different weapon.
  • Fixed the class change animation while switching to the Firestarter in divine form.
  • The Fire Dance effect now interrupts while waiting for resurrection by companion.
  • The Firestarter's ultimate ability now correctly triggers other class ultimate abilities' cooldown.
  • Fixed the issue where the Verdict effect failed to reset Firestarter's ultimate ability cooldown.


Miscellaneous

  • Fixed Firestarter class symbol markers on Terra.
  • Breaching into the security system while completing the training version of Akonita's Avatar now costs only 10 chips instead of 30.
  • Fixed the issue where Specializaitons Bonuses and Hyperion module failed to affect the divine healing cooldown duration.
  • Players will receive legendary weapons of the relevant generation when purchasing the Distant Frequencies Collector's Edition.
  • Fixed the Pedestal animation: the character now correctly holds the bottle in their hands.
  • Added an animation when a Seasonal Subscription reward is given.
  • A class symbol slot will be displayed as locked even for characters who have not completed the Ether Disturbances quest.
  • The title list now contains not only unlocked, but also locked titles.


Known Errors

  • The bronze node of the Aspect of Magic that increases companion's damage Piercing Formation, Berserker Mode, and Random Attack fails to work correctly.
  • Unlocking the gold node of the Aspect of Magic fails to unlock the fourth talent slot abilities.


September 3 (Ignition Update)

Important

The Ignition Update has been released. It includes the Aspect of Magic, a new adventure, and the Firestarter — a master of fire able to turn their enemies into ash!

Ignition

  • New class is now available: the Firestarter. Owners of the Firestarter Collector's Edition will be able to unlock and play as the Firestarter from day one of the Ignition expansion. The Firestarter Temple, where you can also unlock this fiery new class, will be made available to all players in the Artemian Mountains province two weeks later! However, note that all players can already farm sparks of transformation as of today!
  • Added the hall of the Aspect of Magic to the Orbit screen. Energy attack classes can now assume this form and use a new set of abilities. To gain access to the hall of the Aspect of Magic, you will need an Avatar Trophy.
  • The maximum number of Avatar Trophies one player can earn has been increased from six to seven. The catch-up system has not changed.
  • Added information about the abilities of the Aspect of Magic to the Divine Abilities screen.
  • Added a fourth slot for divine abilities. It becomes available once you unlock the gold node of the Aspect of Magic.
  • Added a new adventure: Heart of the City.
  • Added the Heart of the City challenge to the Adventures section. It requires you to complete all tasks in the adventure of the same name. When you complete the challenge, you will also receive a portrait underlay.


Soundweaver

  • Notes of Pain and Notes of Agony deal 50% less damage.
  • In the first 10 seconds, the bonus from Rhythm of Strength now increases allies’ damage by 30% instead of 40%.
  • Bonus to damage from Rhythm of Courage has been reduced from 40% to 30%.


Grovewalker

  • Deadly Thorns deal 40% less damage.
  • The cooldown of Deadly Thorns is now 7 seconds.


Kyris

  • Addressed an issue where the adventure could get stuck if the character attacked the second boss before reaching the correct stage.
  • In the New Witness quest, you can now attack Dale the Aswang ahead of time.
  • In the New Witness quest, the stage “Eliminate the Aswang Commander” ends only after the conversation with Dale, and not after he is defeated. Because of that, characters will not be able to leave without talking to the NPC (doing so caused certain issues and forced them to come back).


Terra

  • Addressed an issue where players would not receive credits for certain tasks in programs.
  • Addressed an issue where members of Curator Pantheons would not receive extra rewards for quests on Terra.
  • Alice’s terminal in the First Expedition quest has been moved to another tower.
  • Removed extra boxes in the Enemy’s Findings task of the Draconids program.
  • Changed the order of starting quests on Terra. The New Horizons quest that unlocks access to programs is now given after the Ether Disturbances quest.
  • Addressed an issue where, after successfully collecting ether, players would sometimes see a message indicating that they failed.

Targo Islands

  • Addressed an issue where Hunting Rau Rau could not be completed if you destroyed the Moah eggs before the hunt started.
  • Updated the marker for Moah eggs on the mini-map.


PvP

  • Updated the timer that shows time until the flag is returned.
  • Addressed an issue where some characters could not be finished off.


Various

  • Slots for class symbols will be displayed even for characters who have not completed the Ether Disturbances quest (they will just be locked until then).
  • Fixed an error in the description of the stat “Damage when combat starts”. The bonus lasts 10 seconds and not 8.
  • Addressed issues where activating the higher divine form would cause the ether body to disappear, but the camera would remain in the same position.
  • Text in Academy rules is now displayed correctly.
  • Added a button to the Adepts menu that allows you to create a Focus of Faith if you have a Divine Amulet. If you do not have an amulet, you can purchase it, and then create a Focus of Faith. It allows you to stock up on Faith as you gain it, without switching between menus.

Terra

  • At the behest of the Council of Gods, our linguists’ work on researching the Draconid language has been accelerated (Draconid Language is now 3rd on the list of program milestones, not 5th)
  • Addressed an issue where in rare cases you could no longer get ether from monsters or receive tasks related to ether.
  • Program points for the Ether for the Beacon quest are now given depending on the program the player is currently working on. It is determined by their currently active quest chain. If they have no active quest chain, the points are invested into the Terra program.
  • Fixed errors in Tiberius’s dialogues
  • Addressed an issue where Xintara had no animation in combat
  • Improved “ether” visuals (ether collected by a mining platform, ether collected through the ether compass from monsters and blobs, absorption of ether focuses, etc.)


Challenges

Addressed an issue where the Death... to Whom? challenge could be completed on the Warm-Up difficulty.

  • You are once again invulnerable when casting Pace of a Crane.

Terra

  • Addressed an issue where you could not speak with Xintara about the first expedition if you had not completed the initial quest chain
  • Addressed an issue where, during quests related to Focuses, you could resurrect in another part of the map (at the ship crash site) which broke the quest progress.
  • Improved the description of the “Leave the place of battle” task (relevant for the successfully completed trial where you can leave or talk to Sally).
  • If the trial is successfully completed, you are transported back to Terra automatically after resurrection
  • Addressed an issue where the Phytonides continued to attack even after the trial was completed”
  • Addressed an issue where Hugo talked too much when accompanying the player on Terra during the Uncharted Territory quest.
  • Ether for the Beacon quest: changed the movement mechanics for mining platforms - they should no longer get stuck.
  • Slightly increased the difficulty of tasks related to ether beacons at the Thorn and Storm stations - now the Phytonides more actively attack the ether accumulator when advancing towards the stations. Made the final waves at the Thorn station more difficult - added elite Entids and Triffid landing troops at the station itself. At the Storm station, the final onslaught is made by the Draconids, not the Phytonides. Added a visual effect for when the ether beacon accumulator is charging.
  • Fixed the Draconid landing troops at the station. Landing ships should no longer fly through mountains and other objects.
  • Addressed an issue where program tasks were not given after the New Horizons quest was completed, requiring you to reenter the map.
  • Special tasks in programs are now given in order (if more than 1 task is available). Each subsequent special task will require that you complete the previous task of this program first.
  • Addressed an issue where you could see quests for ether symbols (in the interface) when completing tutorial quest chains and tasks related to ether beacons, or when visiting an instanced version of Terra.
  • Thanatos’s Ship adventure card can now be found in the Campaign tab of the adventure list.
  • Dangerous Spores: markers now point to the actual location of the Seed Bud Wardens.
  • Players no longer need to complete the Ancient Mage quest to receive the tasks related to new beacons (at the Thorn and Storm stations) Special program tasks are now given once the Terra tutorial is complete and the program interface is opened.
  • Ether Beacon: Thorn Station - increased the task difficulty and rewards.
  • During an attack on a station, only defenders of the station will be marked (and not everyone on the map).
  • Ether Beacon: Storm Station task - the character now appears near the correct exit from the base “Terra-1”
  • Increased Draconid activity on Terra - watch out for their landing troops in regions

Areas

  • Fixed the issue where after defeating Akonita’s champion incarnation players would not receive an Avatar’s Artifact.
  • Those who defeated Akonita before installing the update will receive the artifact within a week.
  • Inghar Test Area: The death of Cryptide Devastator and Canirus (Kraken) causes their minions to die as well.
  • Starting with the Gorgonide invasion, training avatars will be available on Thursdays and Sundays throughout the day (from 3 to 4 AM on the next day).
  • The directive for the training avatar follows the same rules (once a day on Thursday and Sunday)


Class System

Grovewalker

  • Addressed an issue that could have prevented the Deadly Thorns ability animation from playing.
  • Fixed the ability to pick up Divine Sparks if the Monk is in the Pace of a Crane stance.
  • Addressed an issue with the Breath of the Forest quest where an avatar in their divine form was facing the wrong way.


Soundweaver

  • Amplifiers disappear if the distance between them and the Soundweaver that summons them exceeds 55 yards.
  • Striking Opening Symbol: The same target cannot be stunned and pulled to the amplifiers more than once every 20 seconds.
  • Fixed errors in the description of the Verdict ability. It said you could find it in the Halls of War, but it’s actually in the Halls of Willpower.


Challenges

  • The Prayers will be Answered challenge is now correctly completed even if the Cathedral has been upgraded to the maximum without the ritual.
  • Those who reached the maximum number of followers but did not complete the challenge must carry out a Great Ritual.”
  • Corrected the description of certain seasonal challenges.
  • The Headhunting challenge has been moved to the first stage.
  • Updated the Seasonal Subscription menu.


Seasonal Challenges

  • Added information about the required adventure difficulty to the Phoenix's Death, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, and Viper Hunt challenges.
  • Changed the day when the Invasion: Clean-Up challenge starts. It is the 21th day of invasion.
  • Addressed an issue where, if you completed a challenge with a bonus to points, it would show the standard amount of points (but players would receive the correct, increased amount).
  • Now the challenge will show the amount of points it actually earned you.
  • The fix only works for challenges completed after the update. If you have already completed a challenge with a bonus to points, it won’t change.”
  • New Horizons challenge (Go to Terra and investigate the situation) has been fixed. It will be automatically completed for players who finished the Uncharted Territory quest.


Antean Wasteland

Addressed an issue with a location near Demira’s Temple where you could die with the message “you left the area”.


PvP

  • Addressed an issue where the Hyperion’s Cover module would get activated in massive battles.
  • Battle of Golems: A Monk in the Crane stance can no longer pick up a Divine Spark.


Other

  • When upgrading the Stronghold, you will see the message about received chests.
  • Fixed the context action for special offers that would sometimes get stuck.
  • Addressed an issue where, if you have an Experimental Transport equipped, the Dash animation would play incorrectly.
  • Addressed an issue where the Twisty companion would spin in one place.

Challenges

  • Added seasonal challenges to the game - trials that let you test your skills and earn valuable rewards. These challenges will be available until the end of the current invasion season, and the next one will have new challenges. You can read more about seasonal challenges in this article.
  • The Bane of Telurgan challenge now grants Viper Hunter Blades that were previously given for defeating distortion generals and the champion incarnation of Bedazzling Akonita during the last invasion.
  • Added a Viper Hunter title. To receive it, players need to earn 200 seasonal challenge points during the Gorgonide invasion.


Invasion season 21

A Gorgonide invasion is underway.

  • Maximum rank of the Tower of Knowledge has been increased to 215.
  • Maximum Might from the Tower of Knowledge is now 43 500.
  • Maximum number of followers in the Cathedral - 435 000.
  • Maximum Might from the Cathedral is 43 500.
  • Maximum Might from the Stronghold is 32 000.


Catch-up system limits

  • Tower of Knowledge: Rank 205.

  • Stats of equipment from group adventures: Might: 19820, Superiority: 2120

  • Support Aura Efficiency: 170%


Terra

  • Fixed the incorrect position of ether clusters in the city.
  • Addressed issues that allowed you to gain more ether than was intended.
  • Improved the visual appearance of ether clusters


Thea

  • Addressed an issue in the Mechanoid Scouts event where it was impossible to complete it with an A or S score.
  • Reduced the credit reward for B and C scores, improved the reward for A and S scores.
  • To score A, you need to destroy all 10 spy probes within the time limit. S score - be the first to destroy all 10 spy probes. So only one player per event can get an S score.


Berserker

  • Addressed an issue where using the Fracture ability would throw the character a great distance forward.
  • Fixed animation issues that occur when players interact with certain items.

Three new programs have been launched on Terra - scientists await immortals to begin their research. Fixed various issues.

Important

  • Three new programs have been launched on Terra: “Terra”, “New Enemy”, and “Green Threat”. Recently constructed research stations are ready to welcome immortals that wish to assist in studying the new planet and the enemies that have settled here. You can learn more about programs in this article.
  • Uplink Terminals have appeared on Terra. Your character will need ether to use them. Members of Pantheons that are program curators can use Uplink Terminals for free.
  • New enemies have been added: Draconid officers. They are dangerous adversaries that may have valuable information.


Various

  • Female costumes Fearless Leader Attire, Test Driver Dress Uniform, Maker of History Armor, and Guard Attire now occupy a single slot.
  • Addressed an issue where equipment received from directives during the campaign was too low-level
  • If a character has more than 10 Prototype Blueprints and has free slots in the Tower of Knowledge - clicking on an empty slot will combine these 10 items into one.
  • Updated the visual effects for Superiority when it gets boosted.
  • Improved the visual effect for the Secret Oculat’s blinding ability. Its range is now consistent with the mechanics.
  • Bonus from Ether Battery now works in rating PvP
  • Addressed an issue with the Pirate character in Battle Royale: healing would cause movement animation to stop working.

Alchemist:

Berserker:

  • Updated the icon for the bonus damage effect granted by the Thrill of Victory symbol.
  • Fixed the description of the Thrill of Victory symbol. Specified the duration of the bonus damage effect: 25 seconds.
  • Bonus damage effects applied by different Berserkers in a group no longer conflict with each other - they are created separately for each Berserker.
  • Bonus to damage from Rage Incarnate now conforms to the description and equals 150%. Changed the effects of Rage Incarnate - one effect now grants an extra 1% damage.


Knight:

  • Extra damage from the Divine Punisher symbol now conforms to the description.


Witch:

  • Damage from the crows summoned by Dark Envoys is now displayed in combat log as a separate entity and not as damage from Aging.
  • Added a new animation for the Draconid Tank.
  • Quests where you develop your class can no longer be completed in the Training Room.
  • Addressed an issue where bonuses to the duration of divine form (Warming Light and Scorching Light) would not work in all types of adventures.
  • Updated the description for Battle Reward. Adjusted the amount of Pure Matter gained and added information about legendary Stones of Power.


Kinetic:

  • Updated the description for Warped Ground: added information that the trap is activated faster only if there are enemy characters in range.


Archer:

  • Updated the description for the No Retreat symbol.

  • When the emerald symbol Will of Fire is active, the Burning Staff ability now sets the ground on fire if any enemy is hit (not just elite monsters and immortals).


Necromancer:

  • The Dark Magic class symbol now boosts the attacks of the necrodemon summoned by Fury, the Astral Reaper (Necromancer’s weapon).
  • Updated the description for the stat “Mobility after dashing”.
  • The tank with a mace no longer leans towards the player, waiting to catch the mace.

IMPORTANT

Removed the class symbols unlocked by players as a result of a bug. The number of the symbols they have left will depend on the amount of ether they have (it will be rounded up to the players benefit). For example, if your character accumulated 3,800 units of ether and had 6 symbols, two symbols that were unlocked last will be removed.

BATTLE REWARD

  • Legendary stones Mark of Menar, Beacon of Protection, and Emitter of Despair have been added to Battle Rewards and to the Equipment section of the Market.

  • Characters that have unlocked their divine form can no longer receive equipment containers of a generation more than 1 level below the current one.

**Portraits **
Portrait selection buttons have their own icons now. If you do not have a certain portrait element installed, the element selection button will have an appropriate outline. It will help you find the desired element quickly.
**Jet Experimental Transport: **
Changed the mechanics of Experimental Transport. It has become easier to use, and we have removed the ability to jump through mountains and fall through the ground.

**Known issues: **
Sometimes jumping may not work (there will be no context action) or you will not be able to leap over a small obstacle. It will be fixed in one of the upcoming updates.

**Ether Quests **
* Changed the mechanics of the Path of a Hero quest. The quest should no longer disappear once the bar is filled to 100%.
* Ether quests no longer disappear when you die
* Addressed an issue with Ether Hunt that allowed players to get 10% more ether per quest
* Slightly improved the way ether is gained - during events in the area, you will gain ether if you do not participate in them.
* Improved the ether quest system - the quests now wait until the current fight is over. The system will also pick quests for locations that are not far from the player (quests for the current area or neighboring subareas of Terra are selected).

Directives

  • Updated the description of Premium ranks, added information that they affect rewards from directives.
  • Corrected the description of game currencies earned for completing old directives. They are given for new directives now.
  • The currency required to update directives has been removed from the list of valuables.
  • Addressed an issue where you could not get special (gold) missions in directives at the start of a day.
  • Training avatar’s card will always be gold and appear first in the list.
  • Construction resources in directives are now given as an item in your inventory.
  • Catch-up system’s rewards no longer appear in the Battles directives.

Divine Specializations

  • If you need an Avatar Trophy to unlock a node, you will see this information in the description.
  • Updated the icons of certain abilities in the Temple of Deeds. They are designed to better reflect the functionality of the abilities.

Classes
Grovewalker

  • The ability to use Rapid Growth appears at the start of combat and not after it ends.
  • The Rapid Growth effect is not activated as long as the Grovewalker’s phytoform is active.

Necromancer

  • Fixed the Dark Magic class symbol. Extra damage is now also dealt to elite monsters, bosses, and targets immune to control effects.

Draconids

  • Reduced the size of the shield generated by Lizard Tyrant and Lizard Bastion.
  • Increased the time until the Lizard Tyrant’s grenades explode.
  • All monsters from the Draconid army are immune to control effects when using their special abilities.
  • Added Draconid weapons that can be picked-up.

Terra

  • Reduced the number of spots where you can fall through the moss in the location with a lake. They are now marked with mushroom clusters to make them more noticeable.
  • Added metal ladders leading from floor 2 to floor 3. Players now have five ways to get to a higher level.
  • Aelion satellites in Terra’s orbit have improved the map’s accuracy.

Ether Focuses

  • Increased the time limit for quests where you need to collect ether.
  • Decreased the difficulty of Ether Focus challenges. Enemies will steal ether at a reduced rate and within a smaller range.
  • When approaching an Ether Focus, players will now see a tooltip about the class symbol you can unlock with it.
  • Focuses with class symbols that have yet to be unlocked are now marked with the icons of these symbols.
  • After gaining a new class symbol, players will see the appropriate notification.

Various

  • Added missing icons to messages from the Ether Compass.
  • Daily rewards are once again available in the Cathedral.
  • The Equipment Upgrades quest now works correctly.
  • The Threat from the Depths card is once again available in the Hall of Trophies.
  • Addressed an issue where after a group synchronization, monsters would have a lower rank.
  • Stronghold’s rank is now displayed correctly.
  • Players who have unlocked all abilities in the Temple of Deeds will have the appropriate challenges marked as “completed”.

Pantheon Tournament.

  • Added a Reward Selection function for the Pantheon Tournament
  • When a Tournament is over, winning Pantheons will be able to choose their rewards (Hyperion modules, for example) in the Pantheon interface. If a Pantheon wins more than one reward, several consecutive votes will be held.
  • Commanders vote for their preferred reward. The prize that gets more votes wins. If no option is selected within three days after the vote is started, a random reward will be automatically selected.
  • Pantheons will receive their selected rewards during updates.

Battle Mechanics and System

Soundweaver:

  • Addressed an issue with the “Target selection priority” button not working
  • After the ultimate ability ends, the Soundweaver will be immune to control effects and attacks for some time.
  • Addressed an issue where the Soundweaver would still be susceptible to control effects even after successfully executing the ultimate ability.

  • Jinx, Flaming Strings: “Burn” from fireworks now increases the critical chance of all allies with the Soundweaver’s boosting effects if they are attacking the target affected by this effect.
  • Aspect portraits are now displayed correctly.
  • Aspect of Mercy portrait is green if your Premium is active.
  • Aspect of Tenacity portrait is golden if your Premium is active.
  • Aspect of Rage portrait is orange if your Premium is active.
  • Addressed an issue where using Icy Dart while having Kryta, Viper’s Heart (legendary weapon) equipped would block certain abilities.
